How mobile booking works
- Send the essential details: registration, make, model, year, suburb and a clear description of the symptoms.
- Confirm the appointment: Eddie checks routing, likely parts requirements and suitable same-day capacity.
- Diagnosis and approval: the vehicle is assessed and the price is explained before approved work begins.
- Repair and testing: suitable work is completed on-site, followed by checks relevant to the repair.
- Payment and records: common card, electronic and cash payment methods are accepted. Service records or invoice information are supplied as applicable.
Indicative pricing
- General servicing from $275, depending on the vehicle, oil specification, filters and manufacturer schedule.
- Standalone diagnostic or call-out assessment from $80.
- Alternator replacement labour from $300, with parts quoted to suit the vehicle and VIN.
- Other repairs are quoted after the vehicle details and fault are assessed.
Reservoir and Preston: no call-out fee when the customer proceeds with the repair. This is not a general discount and does not apply outside those two suburbs.
Parts and workmanship warranty
Eligible parts and workmanship are covered for 24 months or 40,000 km, whichever occurs first from the invoice date. Coverage does not extend to unrelated faults, pre-existing damage, normal wear, misuse or customer-supplied parts unless agreed in writing. These warranty terms operate in addition to rights under Australian Consumer Law. Read the full warranty and consumer-guarantees information.
Frequently asked questions
Can Eddie attend on the same day?
Same-day service may be available when the schedule, suburb, parts and repair type allow. It is not guaranteed until the booking is confirmed.
What information should I send?
Send the registration, make, model, year, suburb, current symptoms and any warning lights. Photos or a short video can help with the initial assessment.
Can every repair be completed mobile?
Many servicing, diagnostic and repair jobs can be completed on-site. Work requiring a vehicle hoist, major engine or transmission rebuilding, wheel alignment or workshop-only equipment may need referral to a suitable workshop.
Will logbook servicing affect the manufacturer warranty?
Logbook servicing is completed to the applicable manufacturer schedule using suitable parts and fluids, with service records updated as required.
