Eddie has more than 12 years of experience in the automotive trade and has operated Eddie The Mobile Mechanic since 2023. He holds Certificate III and Certificate IV qualifications in Automotive Technology and provides practical on-site diagnostics, servicing and repairs across Eddie’s approved Melbourne service areas.

Glad I did not only having the convenience of driveway service at home his work and honestly are amazing. Talked me through all the works that needed to be completed this service to work that can wait until the next service. Upfront with his price before works undertaken to having the courtesy to send a text 10 minutes prior to arriving at the time we had arranged. My ute being a 4 x 4 in melbourne. Hard to find a decent diesel mechanic. Out going. Fast. Great communication. Decked out Absolutely amazing job on my ute. I forgot my keys on the day. The man travelled from his suburb, All the way to Thomastown to my house to collect my keys from my house mate. To travel to Coburg to my workplace to fix my ute. Trustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. I don’t usually leave reviews, but Eddie deserves 5 stars for going above and beyond in service. I called Eddie in to take a look at a suspected starter motor issue. Separately, my car key broke and I had it replaced at a Master Minit Doncaster (huge mistake) before Eddie turned up. Turns out, the new key was made incorrectly and didn’t turn the car on so Eddie couldn’t diagnose or work on the car. After a frustrating phone convo with Master Minit, Eddie actually drove me to them to have it fixed and my old blade given back (they bloody kept it!). Needless to say once we had a working key, Eddie drove me back home, diagnosed the car, sourced a starter motor, and had the car working very promptly. Stellar work, even better service. Thanks Eddie!

Final prices depend on the vehicle, required oil and parts, access, diagnosis and repair scope. You receive a quote before approved work begins.

24-month / 40,000 km warranty

Eligible parts and workmanship are covered for 24 months or 40,000 km, whichever occurs first from the invoice date. Read the full warranty and consumer-guarantees information.

Unrelated faults, pre-existing damage, misuse and customer-supplied parts are excluded unless agreed in writing. This avoids vague promises and makes the applicable coverage clear for each job.

Logbook servicing is completed to the applicable manufacturer schedule using suitable parts and fluids, with service records updated as required.
